MLBC Demands Response from MS Library Commission on Order to Remove Gender and Race Research Collections

In a March 31 internal memo, the Mississippi Library Commission ordered the deletion of two databases on race relations and gender studies because of a false claim that they may violate state law. The Mississippi Legislation Black Caucus disagrees, and sent a letter to Executive Director Hulen Bivins in response to demand a full explanation and a reversal of the order.
